Wolfpack Sells Out Season Football Tickets
Pack Sets New Record with over 32,000 sold
May 29, 2003
For the third straight year, NC State has sold out of football season tickets, setting a new school record with 32,000 tickets sold for the 2003 campaign. NC State has now set school records for season ticket sales for five consecutive years and this is the earliest that the Pack has ever sold out of season tickets.
In addition, four of the Pack's seven home games for 2003 are completely sold out. Single game tickets remain for the season opener against Western Carolina, the Homecoming game versus Texas Tech, and the Connecticut game. Single-game tickets are $28 for WCU and $29 for Texas Tech and Connecticut.
"The excitement about the upcoming season is certainly evident when all of our season tickets are gone before the end of May," said Director of Athletics Lee Fowler. "We are so appreciative of the support we get from our fans. The enthusiasm and excitement that they bring to Wolfpack football is one of the main factors behind our team's success and the atmosphere at Carter-Finley Stadium is one reason Coach Amato and his staff have been so successful in recruiting . One of the keys to becoming a perennial football power is selling out your stadium and we've now done it for three straight years."
