NCAA abolishes minimum test scores...

This can be nothing but bad for us. We don't accept players that are borderline, so it doesn't do us any good. This will benefit schools like UGAg, Tennessee, etc that will take those types of athletes, especially since they have majors to hide those players in. There is no way we could ever take someone with a SAT score as low as 700. Each athlete having to have completed 40% towards their degree also makes it that much more difficult for us. It's much easier to do at schools like Clemson where students can easily graduate in as few as 3 years, but at Tech most students take 5 years to graduate as it is.

Did Gailey already hear this was going to be passed? Maybe that is the reason for a new and broader approach to recruiting. The best solution is to make a thorough search for candidates you know can handle the academics.

Au contraire (?) As time passes this will become an asset for us. Think about it.
