NCAA bans many more \'diploma mills\'

At least that huge NY Times article, which exposed the diploma mills, has spurred the NCAA to some action to check on, request info, & even ban diplomas from some very suspect 'high schools'. This has got to help to keep youngsters who have done virtually zero high school work from entering college. These diploma mills were a scourge anyway.
Here are 16 more banned 'high schools' & 22 more that will be reviewed later. Only 1 Georgia school is on the banned list; North Atlanta Prep in Covington.

When I read the article I first was excited, thinking that our state's "flagship" diploma mill U[sic]GA would be banned...then I read the rest and found they were only banning prep schools, not literacy centers. I am tremendously saddened.
