did you miss me? does it really make you really angry that 99% of the post here tend to now agree with what I've been saying all along? We're all in the same boat and want the best for GT. Your attacks, or should I say, constant rebuttals on my posts bc of my opinion on Gailey, Braine, and Moore. Ball's play, concerns for what CJ is thinking, our recruiting, etc..have all been discussed ad nauseum since our lopsided loss to a 6-5 Utah team with a back up qb in a arguably one of the worst bowls of them all. Now, I'm not alone in expressing concern over the direction of our program under the current regime which you continually defend as being headed in the right direction. Can you tell me why or if you still think that? Is probation going to hinder us further? What do we do? First and foremost, we as GT fans demand more, express concerns, and if so, hold off on ticket purchases or donations to get our point across to the GTAA. Nothing, I repeat, nothing is going to change until we as collective fan base do this. You want more of the same mediocrity and inconsistency? Keep thinking that Gailey and those in charge are good for our program and berating little ol me for telling it like it is on a message board. I'm ok with people disagreeing with my opionion, but you tended to alway seek me out and berate me for opinions that now are widespread across all GT boards. This is NOT an "I told you so" post. Rather, it is one to ask you to respect other opinions regardless of whether you agree with them or not...and espcially if they are critical of our program. A program, which is deserving of criticism and strong concern for its future.

GeeTee .. Mr GeeTee .. well said and welcome back
I think you have a few more people agreeing with you now

Did I miss you? No.

But here's an perfect example of the problem I have with you. You take any disagreement someone has with you to an extreme.

so, Calvin performed at peak levels under Gailey's regime? Some of yous guys are a trip bc you'll defend anything. The best player GT may ever have and he's made to look like an above average star in some games and a walk on in others like the ugag game. I guess you'll next defend 6-5/7-4 seasons with one of the most talented GT teams in years. Sick of medicroe seasons and a GT stud that will shine like no other in the NFL, but not on the flats for some reason.. oh yea, its Ball's fault,

Who said he performed at peak performance? Maybe I missed the post...please point it out to me.

[/ QUOTE ] You never replied.

No one said he was being fully utilized. The post was whether he was being wasted. There's a world of difference between those two extremes.

There are numerous other examples if you want to look them up. My point is that I don't care what your opinion on something is, except when you either make up something to support your position or twist someone's words to suit you...which you often do.

If you ever bothered to actually read my posts you would know that I've been concerned about our offense all year. I also said early in the year that the decision on Chan would be made this year and he would either be let go or extended. Also that his extension depended on how we played and how many we won and that if he didn't have a good year he couldn't be kept on for his final year. I was surprised that the extension was given when it was...but the off field issues probably played more into that than anything.

I've never posted the words "headed in the right direction" as far as I can remember. I think Chan does some things very well, but others not so good. We've been performing at a mediocre level for 4 years (in fact there's a thread somewhere where I got into an argument with someone about the definition of mediocre). If he's fired tomorrow I won't care...but as long as he's Tech's coach I will defend him against what I think are unfounded criticisms. For example, I don't think you can blame him for flunkgate, or the bowl screwups by the ACC. But he's fair game for anything that happens on the field. If you say he doesn't know anything about running a passing attack I'll tell you you're full of it because his history shows it to be untrue. But if you say that our passing attack sucks I'll agree because it does. We may disagree on why but the statement is obvious.

What you don't seem to be able to do is read someone's post and respond to it. I have no problem with anyone's opinion. Just don't make up things and attribute them to me.
