NCST post about GT's dominance of NC schools...

I quit reading that novel when he claimed Ga. was a football recruiting outpost. He is an idiot.

Stinger78's response is top knotch. Scroll down to it.

You should have quit when he called GT a private school. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

But the absolute looniest thing he said was that Godsey was our worst QB in recent memory.

Oh righteous, now he's saying that the ACC got serious about football when Dooley started coaching in it.

Wow, wish I had access to post over there.

That idiot is not on the same planet. I was going to reply to him, but why argue with an idiot! :wow:
He probably takes a peek at the guy at the next urinal and says, "mine looks bigger than yours".

We've beaten UNC 7 of the last 10; NC State 8 of 10; WF 7 of 10 and Dook 9 of 10.

Some simple reasons why GT owns the state of NC in last decade:

O'Leary (w/ Fridge) & Gailey (with Tenuta) are better game coaches than Bunting, Torbush, O'Cain, Amato, and all the Dook and Weak Florist coaches.

Before that Sheridan and M. Brown were better than B*** L****. Bobby Ross was better than both of them before B*** L****.

State of GA has better recruiting base than NC and is only split between 2 Div I schools versus 5 schools in NC.

NOTE: we will beat UNC and Dook in the next 2 weeks...

He did indeed make some mistakes, but I thought his epistle was generally well-thought out and written. He just didn't have all the facts.

What I appreciated the most about that thread was that everyone, including the NCState, GT, and UNC fans who contributed, was civil and participated in an honest exchange of opinions without name-calling. Few people called someone else an idiot or claimed they knew nothing about football when they disagreed with them. Maybe we can take a lesson from that.

Uh ... no. It was based on completely flawed information and assumptions, pompous in tone, and made no sense whatsoever. But I give the guy credit, he was civil and he hit the return key more often than the average moron.

Don't worry - I only call idiots idiots. Name calling is calling someone a dork or a douchebag. Calling someone who gets practically every fact in his article wrong and reaches insane conclusions an idiot is simply being blunt.
