That is some lefty fruit loop stuff right there.:laugher:

The Stanford tree is "almost" as bad as the dude we had in the flag corp a few years ago. My Clemson and Ugay friends still give me sh** about that one.

They have a competition every year for who can make the stupidest costume, and the winner gets to be the mascot for the year at all their sports events.

That sounds like I'm making it up, but seriously, I'm not. That's actually how they do it. Wife went to grad school there.

There was nothing "wrong" with F(l)ag Boy. he just wasnt very good with the flag. the tree looks like one of those Marine sniper suits

Ah yes...the "flagette" as he was referred to as. Still remember a game (FSU maybe?) where they did a lit torch routine, and he was the "flaming flagette"...

Good times...

(insert Seinfeld - "Not that there's anything wrong with that" quote here)

You are correct, sir. F$U in 2002.

Our term was "flaggot." Not quite as endearing as yours.

But meh, our school is in midtown Atlanta, which has a higher per capita rate of homosexuality than the Castro district in San Fransisco, and fwiw Midtown has it's own "Gay and Lesbian Flag Corps," so we should probably just get used to it. We're bound to have another one sometime soon.

beej67,
lived with a lesbian his junior year in college

I think it's actually the Stanford Band that does the mascot as well, which adds to the weirdness factor.

Stanford's whole situation is just plain awesome. I love the whole lore behind all of their traditions and all the nutty stuff that they do.
