ND benefits from GT\'s ticket price increase

Those ole Fighting Irish sure know how to make a football contract. They are also pretty sharp about their value to any team's schedule.
The Yellow Jackets' average ticket price to our 6 other home gms is $38. The average price for Notre Dame is $50. The Golden Domers put it in their contract with us that they would get 1/2 of that extra dollar generation. My math says $6/ticket for each tix sold which may = $250,000 more bucks for ND.
Also note that GT keeps 3,000 tix for each gm for giveaways/perks, etc. Ga Tech sure got a whopping payday for opening Notre Dame's refubished stadium in '97.
Very good article.

All we can do is beat their arse!
They deserve credit for keeping the myth alive and actually making it stronger without dominant teams.

Wake Forest probably wonders why all the Southern Baptists can't get them their own TV contract.

Course it's also an extra $250,000 for Tech. Guess I don't see the big deal.
