Just like Joe Hamilton and George Godsey before him, you can see the progression of Nesbitt in the last few games. It's not the gaudy numbers that I base this on... it's the decision making. He's just playing some beautiful spread option QB right now. For the first time since Godsey, we have a QB who's light bulb has turned on.

Lets give it a bit longer before we start comparing him to those guys. Miami was just a couple weeks ago.

One week he is the worst QB in the history of the world and the next week he has turned the corner and is compared to the likes of Joe Ham. Gotta love college football.

I don't think he's comparing their stats, he's saying that you can see that he's improving and it seems that the light bulb has gone on, just like in Goose and Joe.

Well, I'm someone who thought the criti**** given to him after the Clemson and Miami games was BS to begin with. The entire offense was playing ****ty, and while Josh was making questionable reads, he wasn't being put in the best position by either CPJ or his blockers. The last 2 weeks, the decision making has been wonderful, CPJ has returned to stellar playcalling, and the blocking has improved. In particular, we are attempting less of those ridiculously low percentage long throwing plays and more short passes.

By the way, Demarius Thomas is money and Stephen Hill will be a great receiver in a few years.

It does seem like he was making very good reads for the most part tonight. We'll see if it sticks against fsu and the rest

It's looking to me like he's starting to enjoy the game and the offense. He seems to really like running the ball and trucking DB's. If all this is true, then it could mean he's finally reading and reacting instead of thinking. That would be good. Of course, MSU had a really, really bad secondary.

All I know is for the first time in I don't know how long on 3rd and longs I had reasonably optimistic expectations of something good happening instead of merely wishing for a small miracle. I kind of liked it.

Nesbitt looks like a natural out there. MSU defended the option very well, but Nesbitt lead us to victory. He is excellent at reading when to keep and pitch. Only made one major mistake (the pitch that was deflected). Besides that, he made all the right moves.
