They got back from the game late that night and Nesbitt, JD, and a few of the DBs came over for a party. Nesbitt had gotten over the loss by that point, JD just sat in a chair with unopened beers in both hands and was clearly going over every play in his head.

That was probably my greatest night ever as a GT fan. FSU fans being assholes all day. 9 first half touchdowns. Lightning delay. We looked unstoppable on offense. Tech band's drums playing under the bleachers during the delay - we stayed in the stands. The FSU folks leaving in shock silently after the game. It was wonderful

I think people don’t understand how true this statement is. Nesbitt didn’t say much, but he was competitive as shit and wanted to embarrass you whether it’s practice or in a game. I don’t see that anymore in CPJ teams minus maybe 2014. Players create the culture not the coach
