Nesbitt screwed up another thing that was embarassing

In all fairness gsu, he did lead GT on two crucial scoring drives. I don't think it was uncalled for; let the guy celebrate a win, albeit an ugly one.

Apparently he's worse than Reggie Ball (yeah, the same guy who looked awful with the best receiver in football) though so he should probably never celebrate after a win.

You're kindof an idiot.

You're kind of someone who doesn't mind what happens as long as it's a win. I'm not.

In all fairness, TechGator1066, he did lead GT on many failed drives due to his terrible passing. I think it was uncalled for; he has nothing to celebrate.

Do you think his passing skills are better than Reggie Ball? My thread says that he is a worse PASSER.

Nesbitt needs to stick to what he does best, and that's just running the ball. I don't completely blame him. CPJ knows how his arm is, and he makes the calls. The guy did his best and deserved to throw his arms up.

He threw his hands up like he was proud of himself after taking a knee.

Embarrassing.
He lead the game winning drive. I'd be happy too. And in nearly 30 years of following Tech football, I've never been embarassed by a win. A loss maybe but never a win. Give some credit to Clemson - they played the best game they could possible have played and we still won.

So if we went undefeated winning every game like this one you wouldn't be happy? What the eff is wrong with you?

I didn't like people criticizing Reggie Ball when he played here. What good did it do, exactly, to say he sucked? Say he isn't putting enough effort in, or has a bad attitude, you know, things he can control.

It's even more ridiculous with Nesbitt. So what should Nesbitt do differently? Stop sucking?

Absolutely. The Reggie Ball I'm thinking of had games like this ALL THE TIME with the best receiver in football. 3/16 in a half against Miami, 10/24 for 78 yards total against a putrid UNC team in 2006, 6/22 for 42 yards and 2 ints against UGA the same year, 9/29 against Wake with 2 ints...

Nesbitt made that last drive happen... granted, his game wasnt pretty but he made it happen when it was do or die... let him put his hands up... he put those game winning three points on the board..... he may have jeopardized the win for much of the second half but when he had to get it done, he did.... he could have hung his head and quit but he kept fighting... GO JACKETS!!!!!!!

I don't want to be to critical of you paintballer. I am just starting to post on here but have been reading this message board for awhile now. I see people post things like
"I don't care what uni's we wear as long as we win"...I think that is a stupid comment we are Tech fans we all want a victory. But reading your comments tonight I fell you would be happier if we didn't win tonight because we did not play our best game and I am getting the same vibe from many others posting here tonight. I think Josh played his A$$ off tonight and is a fighter who carried use to two scoring drives at the end of the game. I will take the ugly win today, tomorrow and every time and I am sure deep down you will too!

GSU has two ugly wins lately; here tonight and last weeks Geo Southern win. I feel your pain GSU but they all can't be beautiful wins.

I hope to God you're not comparing what PJ is working with to what Chris Hatcher is working with.

However, that's a story for another thread. This is neither the time nor place.

If I had a task that I had to achieve and I made a lot of mistakes and felt bad about it and knew that I had let everyone down, I think I would be pretty happy if, in the end, I was able to accomplish the task anyway. And I might even do something like throw my arms up and be happily relieved about it. And I would know that I could learn from my mistakes and do better next time. It would be a great feeling. And it wouldn't necessarily be about "pride." It would be relief and joy.

It makes sense to me.

What doesn't make sense to me is your sense that it is embarrassing.
