I don't like the sound of "banged up" ankle. I hope that it's more like healed ankle. Nesbitt needs to be able to play without thinking about his leg for us to be able to move the offense tonight.

I hope he's at least 95%. My son may be learning a few new words tonight if he's not.

This is disappointing if true. And if it is true then the team that "doesn't lose two in a row", loses two in a row, probably three in row, and depending on our bowl game, four in a row.

i'm nervous. It will be nice when we are literally three our four deep on QB. Not two deep. (not trying to knock #3&4)

I hope that the Oline pulls it together tonight. They can make a 90% look great or look horrible. They can make a 100% Shaw look like a freshman or look like a junior.

If the Oline comes to play tonight, it shouldn't matter who's banged up.

It's disappointing because he's starting or because he has a banged up ankle? If he's good to go then he should be out there. If he gives it a go and things aren't working then Shaw can come in. What is disappointing?

Honestly, I think the defense needs to return to their "keep the defense under 20 points" form for us to win regardless of who is under center.

When I was watching the show, he said that he is "expected to start" even though he has a hurt ankle. I am thinking he will be out there on a short leash. I am not terribly worried guys. CPJ will make the right decision.

I agree 100%. It's not as if this is baseball, where the pitcher can't re-enter the game, either.

Disappointing is risking him vs ugag.

The problem is, in this offense, you are at a great risk every game even if you are 100% going in. You have to play to win the next game, I think.

I believed this too but I listened to CPJ's weekly radio show from Tuesday and he refuted this when someone asked him if he thinks we should have 3-4 QBs who can run the offense seeing as how this type of offense puts the QB at more risk.

He was probably just downplaying the risk a bit but some of Josh's and Jaybo's injuries doesn't really seem to do anything with CPJ's system.

Now do you understand "disappointing?" Josh doesn't have it tonight. Go to bed now while it is 10-0.
