Never seen Tech get so much attention....

Man!! Up here in NC, the bigest sports talk radio host talked about the Jackets for 3 hrs --all about Jaybo, Josh, Front 4 on d, our scheme, and Bebe and Jon Dwyer..so cool. Said we were the best team in ACC, and no one can handle our products. Moreover, he shouted out to the rest of the ACC that if We throw for 230 yds per game for the rest of season "on top" of that killer ground attack and keep playing wicked D-- he said boys you will not be beat again and, CPJ will be the NATIONAL coach of the year.

"BANK it ..my brother fly, fly you killer BEES "
departing words as he faded out-- Love's some Jackets

 Bomani Jones 620am in Charlotte, NC

11:00Am- 1:00PM This Cat is on time!!

It's funny that preseason he was talking about how we had no chance because of all the players who left when PJ was hired. Good to hear he's on board now, but it's amazing how little research these guys do.

I'm loving all the new coverage its great to see. We just need to keep it up. Winning cures all.

Speaking of players who left, who are they? And who is most missed by them leaving?

it won't be stolen... it will be hard earned

Those are the words of others. I keep hearing people say Tech is going to "steal" a BCS bowl. Of course it's hard-earned but it's a steal in the sense that we weren't supposed to even play in a bowl.

Taylor Bennett- Obsolete in this offense

Colin Peek- Obsolete in this offense

DJ Donley- tough loss but we have and will make due

Lil Mal- Sucks to lose him more than any of the others

James Johnson- Could use him but we're ok

Hey...there were a lot of people who thought we had no chance this season. Because of both the defections and installing a new system, I certainly didn't expect us to be(probably) 5-1 heading into what is now a very winnable Clemson game. I don't think anyone thought we would be one of the top two teams in the ACC at the midway point of the season, one underthrown ball/iffy call away from being the undisputed best.

I think it's a testament to just how good of a coach CPJ is, getting this system up and running so well so quickly. The improvement from the spring game to now...hell, the improvement in between each week is very impressive.

Let's not forget that SI picked Tech to be the worst in the ACC this year (3 wins total and 1 in ACC). I knew we would be better than that, but I started out the season without any expectations beyond a ?bowl game. We now have every reason to anticipate an 8-4 or better season.

Colin would make as good an A back as Cox is, most likely.

More important to keep improving as season goes along.

Something that has not been possible for many years.

Collin could have been used as a blocker, IMO. Whether at A-Back, or at WR pulled tight to the line, or even maybe at the tackle spot

As a TE, he was obsolete and that's all he wanted to be... which is why he left.

Evans is the biggest loss IMO because we need competent A backs right now.

It's a Tech blog. What did you expect?

Doom & gloom about how we're going to be "too nervious to perform" in some of our upcoming games. And other random pessimism about how the ACC officials and AP/ESPN media are biased against us.

We are getting increased coverage and respect. Which is great. The Athens Journal Constitution still kills me, because 1. Even after than embarrassing loss to UA, the AJC is still doing those retarded "Get to Know your Dawgs" videos, and 2. the AJC still had a UGA headline on GT's game day when UGA wan't even playing....lamewads.

Anyways, nice to get some respect.
