That’s an interesting idea

Doesn’t seem very compelling to me. If I wanted to drive and pay for a ticket/food, I’d just go to an ACC game.

Half the beauty of watching on tv is the ability to eat he multiple games too.

There may be some in some locales who can't get the games on any TV stations they receive. I think it's a great idea. Would be fun to get a group of Tech fans together for an away game, just to enjoy watching it with other Tech fans.

If it is like the theaters that sell beer and food, it isn’t much different than a sports bar. I’m nly there is only one game showing (and on a giant screen).

If there isn’t food or drinks, I’m not sure I would go but I could see some appeal. You would probably need to monitor different fan bases. The idea could get ugly really fast. But there really isn’t that kind of animosity in the ACC.

A good slap fight between Duke and WFU fans could be a beneficial extra.

Could be a nice alternative to paying for streaming services just for sports or for one game on some random network. Sports bars have their pros and cons. I'm sure you could actually hear and focus on the game better at a theater. Plus if the game isn't going right you can sneak into a movie.

Used to go watch Price, Salley, and those great Jacket basketball teams' away games at the old Buckhead Theater (Roxy).
Was awesome watching some awesome games against powerhouse opponents on that big screen, with Billy Packer, Dick Enberg, Dick Vitale, Al McGuire commentating.

Too bad more Drive-ins aren't still around. I would watch a game at a Drive-in before I would a theater.
