(New) Architecture Lawn

I am planning on coming back for the Homecoming game this weekend and wanted to know if the new lawn in front of the architecture building is opened yet, last time I was up the lawn was still fenced off. We wanted to have a tailgate close to the fraternities and this seemed like the ideal place.
 
It was still closed at the last home game - I'm not sure if it still is. If I drive through campus in the next couple of days I will post again.
 
It was still fenced off as of today. They generally keep new sod fenced off for a few weeks before they let anyone near it, kind of like they did by Skiles last year.
 
that lawn does look pretty good. if only they'd tear down that friggin peters parking deck!!! how good would a lawn look there? i'm pretty sure it's in the long term plans but "how long" is the question.

They want to put a river in that runs through campus too.
 
I figured they wouldn't have it open yet, which is a shame since it would be a great place to tailgate prior to the game. Are there any restrictions as far as tailgating in yellow jacket park?

Not to my knowledge. There have been plenty of folks there each home game this year not far from our tailgate.
