I like it. Aside from the desperately needed color update, the lines are finer and his nose looks a tiny bit less like a penis.

edit: btw this is actually from uniwatch, not Tech. I dunno, cry about it or something.
 
I just noticed the blue and gold one has a white halo effect around him. Is he a ghost? what is this

edit: also, the old one's pupil looks like he's just done a line of Colombian buzz and the new one looks spaced on dilaudid. a ghost junkie with race identity issues. is this the hero we want to offer to our children?

Buzz does look faded in the new gold, but he couldn't be exempt from the new color standards. I am satisfied, overall.
 
I like Buzz but simply changing his colors is just weird-looking. They should have taken the time to issue a new Buzz. I don't know what it should look like, but this was the perfect time to hit us with a new one.

I went to Sprayberry as a Freshman. It was every bit how you would picture going to Sprayberry.
 
Personally, I really like the much larger trademark symbol.:facepalm:

I also think the new logo will look better when its not right next to the old logo.

Since it is from uniwatch, is it the real thing or their speculation?

Also, does this mean that the Buzz costume will change to use the new color?

It's from the latest art sheet, so I assume it's legit. It's been around since April, so I guess Uni Watch just noticed. In fact, I thought we already talked about it, but maybe I was on another site. I still don't think we need to mess with the costume.

It would be really weird, I think, if the costume mascot had gold and blue colors instead of yellow and black.

In general I wish we'd focus more on the rambling wreck and less on the insect, personally.

I like Buzz the logo and mascot and hope they always have a place, but I'm fine with it being de-emphasized. That definitely seems to be the way they are going. There is no doubt that the Wreck is a lot more unique and I expect it to be utilized more, given that they said they based Tech Gold on it.
