Dix and Kirk were both great football players but both lacked ideal size for the college game. That is kind of how it generally is at Carrollton...We have some outstanding football players that are 5'9", 185, built like a rock, and quick as a cat, but dont have the ideal size college coaches look for. Our last D1 prospect that I can remember was Reggie Brown and he ran a 4.19(supposedly) forty and was 6'1", that is despite the fact that we win 8-10 regular season games per year.

I'd like to quote Gilbert...and we are talking about a 6'5'' 275 pound guy SAYING this. I asked him if he had heard of Tarrant's committment and he responded yes and..
