New Depth Chart?

Not only do we lose three starting DL but we lose Elris Anyaibe, as well.

I thing some of this is just getting used to the new coach. For instance, I truly believe that Calvin Booker would play before Bryce Dykes. And I also think that Coach's philosophy that the best practice player gets the nod on the depth chart and that injuried players aren't on the depth chart makes it a little more interesting. It seems like in previous years guys had positions and it was hard for them to be unseated, whereas Coach Johnson says "you have to earn it no matter what".

I also think he's using this as a motivational tool for some players as well. It will probably look a little more "as expected" at game time.

Either way, I like the way the man works - earn your spot, work hard to keep it, and you'll get playing time.

I think the Lucas Cox thing is probably legit. He's apparently practiced very well and I imagine they're using him as an extra blocker.

Imagine Roddy going into motion lining up behind Dwyer and they run the toss sweep to Cox's side of the field with Cox and Dwyer running lead blockers.... ouch.

Personally I don't think PJ gives a damn about depth charts, it just that people harrass him for one. He will play who he thinks gives us the best chance to win in a particular game.

I agree ncjacket. I think it is fun to watch dumb uga graduate journalists to keep asking him questions over and over again because then we get to see him get angry and they won't like him when he's angry
