I have been informed that, despite a recent article by one of the Scout writers, Brandon Leslie will not take his official visit to Tech on the 15th of September? I haven’t heard if he has rescheduled nor have I heard whether this has affected the attendance of Kaveinga, Golden, or Stuckey for the BC game.

I may be reading too much into this, but I speculate that he may feel that he is being somewhat sandbagged for the likes of Carlton Lewis, Keanon Cooper, and Karnell Hatcher. We have already established that if anyone of these three were to commit before the 15th, then Leslie’s offer would be withdrawn. If he plans to visit on a later date, he is only increasing the likelihood of this occurring.

Just FYI, he has an official scheduled to Nebraska on the 29th of September.

Isn't Leslie the one with the bum shoulder? That was the story given behind the "sandbagging." No sense in having a player on the IR for four years.

That is true, but it is no secret that the Tech staff would rather have their pick of the other three. In regards to our remaining list of Safety propects, I think that Leslie ranks 4th.

leslie is a good kid. he wanted to go to ND (he's an irish fan), but they were only taking one safety this year and never offered leslie. it's a shame b/c i'm rooting for him.

how does cooper taylor, and kam riley fit into this.

IIRC BOTH were recruited as S's; and I for one don't think either were as high on our board as hatcher and Co.

So it seems we took two commits from two S's already....how many more are we taking? Just one of the remaining hatcher, lewis etc?

If you'd read the recent update by the Scout writers, you will get the current information on Brandon.

Leslie and Golden may be coming to the Clemson game instead.

We may take a Golden if he wanted to commit as he is a stud CB...but we are really done at CB.

We will take one more safety or combo safety/CB (like a Riley).

Lewis, Hatcher, and Leslie are the only ones on the board and it could be solved prior to Leslie even visiting. Lewis is getting a lot of Florida Gator pressure now as well from what some are stating.

I don't have a schedule in front of me, but isn't the Clemson game on the 29th...the same day as his scheduled Husker visit? Is he cancelling or pushing back that visit?

I can't...I don't have a Scout account. (Despite popular belief  )

I was told that the latest article still had Brandon visiting on the 15th, but that was not an accurate statement. Hivered pretty much just confirmed that. Was there anything else in that article worth mentioning. Or is that information classified? ;)

If the article you are referring to is the one that I am thinking about (front page of scout today), it is a public article. No insiders account needed. And yes, it does state he will be at GT on the 15th. Also states that he thinks his decision will be made by the end of the month (Nebraska visit on the 29th), if not before then...

Despite what the article says...his visit is trying to be moved to the Clemson game.

By us or by him? Judging by the way it seems we are higher on others, I am guessing by us...
