Osahon Tongo hit Dykes so hard he knocked Dykes' helmet off. Derrick Morgan hit Dwyer so hard Dwyer said he was momentarily knocked out. Jason Peters, Vance Walker and Tony Clark delivered big hits and big plays, and Dominique Reese intercepted a pass.

Sounds about like years past.... anybody else remember guys not fighting for the ball while its on the ground?

Not really.

There was a game 2 years ago against ugag where we had the ball but the refs screwed us and let their LB return it for a td. There were 2-3 GT guys standing around the pile while the ball was on the ground.... IMO if you add these guys going after the ball with the same desire as the ugag lb we win the game.

Okay, so that's one time, maybe. I don't recall if they didn't go after it or didn't see it with all the bodies laying around.

Listen to Meet the Machine archive last week....
Matt Rhodes talks about this play and says that he was one of the ones standing there but that the ref was blowing his whistle to signal the play dead when the dawg came out of the pile with the ball.....

He and Machine really down on officials for that game......
