A heads-up before the season gets rolling (this was news to me, at least). It looks like the old "GT Gameday" app has been deprecated and is no longer being updated or supported.

There's a new "Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets" app (Navy/Gold icon) in the app store that replaces the old one (Gold/White icon) for news, rosters, live audio, and other features from the old app.

I've never used electronic tickets to GT sports, but the info about the app makes it sound like the app is also a way (if not THE way) to access your mobile tickets.

I hope you meant to write...the old "GT Gameday" has been decapitated. I always thought we could/should have a better one. Whatever works, though. :-)

I was using "deprecate" in the software sense of "removing support for, in favor of a newer alternative," but whatever works, indeed.

I did notice that the new app is a lot less gold and a lot more navy than the old one. (I've also noticed that the navy unis show up on some of the billboards around town.) Are we trying to slip a shift toward navy in under the radar?

I've sensed a move toward navy in advertisement, posters, emails to ticket holders. Even practice unis ere mainly blue.

So when do they change the name to blue jackets? Seems like that’s what they want sadly

the blue jackets is the new branding they were talking about when Stansbury hired Collins, and it was cemented when they switched the uniforms from Russell to addidas :ugh: :eekfacepalm: :eekfacepalm:
