I was just wondering if we could get a listing of "new recruit targets" due to our HC and DC coaching changes...and all the other HC changes throughout college football.
I am interested in seeing how our recruiting pans out this year as things really heat up after the "dead period". I can't wait to watch our team next Fall & see PJ's offense in play...as well as seeing our new DC in action. Well one things for sure a lot is going to take place from now till then so lets cheer on the JACKETS and fill the stadium to show our support!

I would like to know this as well. If anyone of the usual suspects has any info on this just pm me, I understand the hesitation to discuss this publically. Thanks ahead.

Well....the staff has not even been able to all get together as a group and agree on all of the new targets as they have just been finalized. They left for Boise this morning...so the recruiting meeting will probably not happen until January 2.
They can start making contact again on Thursday, January 3.
However, we do know that some initial feelers are being put out by some assistants....but no offers as of yet.
For instance, we requested film from Troy Vital...a RB prospect from Texas that is currently committed to Houston.
We are also having to expend a lot of energy convincing the current 14 to stay and stop the bleeding at Renfree, Jackson, and Jenkins. Pridemore visits Florida Jan. 11 and Nick McRae has an in-home with an NCState coach right after the dead period to schedule an official visit. We know one of the 14 will become automatically solid when he begins class January 7....Tyler Melton.

PJ will recruit talent based on specific skills and speed to maximize the potential for his killer offense. If we loose some people thats not necessarily a bad thing. I have followed PJ since his hiring of OC at GSU in '83. This man can coach. UGAY has never been able to stop PJ's 3-0 so get used to stinging them puppies every year. Don't know about the defense but expect us to win at least 9 the first year.
