This may be old news to you all, but Tech is now offering season tickets in the Upper North Endzone now dubbed "The Jackets Nest". The tickets are $150 a piece (all 7 games). I just bought 2 in section 215 row 10. I paid $120 for a three game pack in worse seats last year!

Additionally, do any of you guys know how many rows are in the lower sections of upper north. I think that row 10 may just be into the upper section of 215, but I hope not.

I am thinking maybe this will keep all of those damn visiting fans out of that section of our stadium.

Wow, that's a great deal. I might do that, actually. No crazy AT fees or anything?

I like it. Worry about selling all of the seats first, then work on making sure that seats are filled with as many GT fans as possible.

I've had season tickets up in 219 for the past few years. They are surprisingly really good seats. Not sure about row 10 over in 215, though.

Please tell me we are restricting sales to AT donors, Roll Call donors or GT graduates. Otherwise the purchasers of the 3 game packs (primarily opposing fans) will snag them to ensure they have tickets and then we have more empty seats for the low demand games.

I like it! Strike up another victory for DanRad and Coach Johnson. The Upper North has been an eyesore for nearly every big home game since expansion (less Miami and VPI).

Just purchased 8 tickets in Section 215. These are in addition to our regular seats in CL4.

The promotion says areas 210 or 219, I just got these in 215. We usually purchase about 8 Flex Packs, however, this year we got 8 for the whole season for roughly the same cost.

So is there a link to order them online? What hoops do I have to jump through to get on the list?

They should sell cheap season tickets, but make them dependent on two things: First show up, or get fined. Second, wear yellow or not be admitted into the stadium. It's a dumb idea, but our games wouldn't look like the rainbow connection anymore.

In my opinion this is better than the 3 game packs because it forces Non-fans to pay for 6 additional tickets instead of just 2. It will also entice average GT fans to purchase season tickets at a cheaper price, and this limit the number of non-fans buying in that section.

There's no hoops in order to purchase. It is just like any ticket purchase on Ticketmaster or any other site. You put how many you want in the cart, it tells you your seats, then you pay for them. No AT fund donations or anything.

Now go get you guys some tickets, because I think everyone should stand behind our program right now!

add 2 more to the upper North Crew!!!

Real shame I gave up those pimp daddy tickets I was buying off JTS last year, but such is life.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to this:

...isn't 215 right above the band?

Beej, did you buy me two? I might have be able to get you into the letterman's club. Who knows what that might be worth too you lol.

Quite a lot if they serve free booze. Otherwise, not so much. I've been in there once before, with someone else a while back. Can't remember who. Friend of family or something.

..wait, what do you need tickets for, anyway? Gave yours up during the Chan Age?

good stuff. You're a few seats over from me.

So which part of 215 are we in? The low middle or high part?

Long story! It has to do with the AA back when they reassigned in 2000 or 2001.

Tell ya what, you buy your own there in 215 with the rest of us, and I'll give you free beer before the game in return for getting me into the letterman's club.

Row 12 should be 12 rows up from the balcony edge there, overlooking the band, unless I'm an idiot. (possible) Assuming I'm not an idiot, those are pretty darn good seats for 150 bucks.

talked to a guy at the ticket office and in sections 217, 216, 215, 214, and 213 the lower tier goes up 7 rows and the first row in the upper tier is thus row 8. (according to him all of the lower tier seats are gone) Mine are 215 row 10 seats 16 and 17 so i feel pretty good about having only 2 rows in front of me. Plus quick bathroom and food runs are always good.

thanks for the info guys. Glad they decided to do this promotion. My money's tight with my wife in school and a baby on the way.
