new stories out of Orlando and UCF tragedy

I read that earlier...really, really tough situation there. You really have to believe the players there who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

this was NOT O'leary's fought ANYBODY who has ever played even peewee football has seen kids weezing about the "die" and etc.

I remember some "big boned" kids they would have sit in their attic to make weight for peewee football.

This is a VERY SAD tragedy but collegiate athletics is VERY intense and is potentially dangerous.

I do not think anywhere here is saying it was O'Leary's fault...or even there. The problem with GO at times was he tended to put "spin's" on things that did not true up.

it always seemed a bit strange for a character trait for George, but when he was confronted by a "group" (like journalists or even fans sometimes) he would get really defensive and then think he had to make all the 'loose ends' go away or something. he would overstate the case at times

in person, i never saw him do this. he would give you that sneary grin and make a depreciating comment, either about him or about you.
