Rendering here. Sounds great, because the last was so hard to see! Good things are happening!
Cool. Maybe we won’t suck now.
When they did this at Wallace Wade they made it way too big and the sound way too loud for the stadium. Really felt out of place and annoying. Hope the same doesn't happen here -- bigger is not always better, regardless of what your mom may say.
We need a new one at Grant Field that takes up the ads on the sides. When ads are up they need to be digitized. The only static display should be the ones on the foam padding.
Hope we'll see batting averages and more stats now...
They would do better to show Star Wars movies on it, considering the level of baseball entertainment available to show on it.
Good point. Rusty C is a wonderful venue - good access, convenient parking, great Atl skyline view, and you're close to the field. A helluva fine place to watch a ballgame. I hope this monster board doesn't screw up the ambience.
Looks good; streaming game. Stays zoomed in on it changing sides.
The outside dimensions of the new scoreboard are actually the same as before, it appears, just now the video screen covers the entire scoreboard. Yet somehow, the score frame along the bottom has gotten shrunk down to where it's harder to read. They need to move the ad box at the right, so that the score frame covers the entire bottom of the scoreboard.
At night , it's too bright for my taste, almost blinding. Getting rid of any ads and images with a white background would help.
Also, too much blue and beige all over the scoreboard, and no black and yellow at all. Even Buzz is portrayed as blue and beige on the video graphics.
Other than these issues, it's a nice new video scoreboard with excellent clarity.
