It's time that BW be made aware (if he isn't already) that we Tech fans and others are tired of his crap so start a new vote and lets get him out of here and if he had worked for me before I retired I'd have fired him in a NEW YORK minute.

Beeware is a Tech fan with some stupid opinions about coaches. Stupid opinions are not a ground for kicking anybody off the board, imo. Besides, don't we have something ELSE to talk about? Like Wake?

i have started to abhor beeware(that he is not a tech fan)'s posts.

however, i don't feel that he should be kicked out by voting him out.

i lost my temper and posted the "i want to kick beeware's but" post .. and that wasn't right either.

the moderators (gtfan) of this board have already suggested that they don't know what do with beeware.

but seriously .. there are issues with beeware like his constant direct deriding of personnel, which IMHO needs to be curbed, ow what is the use of having moderators on a board?
 
Time for some of you to get off Beeware's case, and back to your sewing circles. Beeware is a blast to read, and MOST people know he's just yanking for jollies.

Belly, you're right. We do have Wake to talk about.

Just about everything thread started turns into "beeware bashing," with beeware doing most of the bashing. Read down through the board. Beeware has some good insight. I believe he is a GT fan. He's bashes others for their opinions continuously, while being unkindly harsh.

It's like a record playing over and over and over again.

I'm sick of it honestly.
 
Why don't you just ignore him?

As for me, I think he's pretty hilarious. Especially when he makes you guys so mad.

this guy continually derides the coaching staff ... and what's worse .. it's unwarranted.

he's been saying that the o-line coaching is a "significant downgrade" and continuously so. there is no basis to make that statement.

he's been deriding Dave Braine for hiring Gailey and not McWhorter.

he's been deriding Dave Braine for scheduling UConn when everyone knows that was the best that we could do after MTSU unexpectedly backed off.
(take a look at who georgia scheduled after tulane backed off)

he's been deriding chan gailey for everything including why isidore came ashore in louisiana.

he calls Chan Gailey "buck" ... i mean is that supposed to be funny? is that supposed to be an insult? am i supposed to ignore that? why should any TECH fan take this öööö from him?

IMO his posts directly deriding personnel should be curbed .. my moderators .. cause that's what they do .. moderate
 
Mustard I'm sorry, I know your affiliation with the church and I'm with you on that. I guess I just lost my cool with some of BW's ranting BUT never to BW I just want him to join the rest of the Tech family and get on with the program.

Some of you would be better off on the Hive where there is only one opinion and all others be damned. I happen to enjoy BW posts and agree with some, especially the disrespect shown to GOL. I think ALL opinions are welcome here and if not maybe you should go to the Hive.
 
DaveTech. I don't think it's the opinion that bothers people. That's not the objection here. The objection is the way the message is being delivered.

Maybe I'm missing something here and please tell me if I am but I will admit that many times when I log on to the board I look for BW posts. He's funny. So what that his opinion is a little different from most on here. It seems like people on this board get a little upset when others start "bashing" coaches or players or, God forbid, disagree with what YOU think. I don't always agree with the play-calling. I mean, come on, 2nd and 2 inside the 10 and we throw 2 fades to the end zone!!?? RUN THE BALL!!!! I could understand if BW went into profanity laced rantings or made death threats towards coaches or players but it seems to me that all he is doing is EXPRESSING HIS OPINION!!! I might not agree with all of BW's posts but banning him? come on!!

You don't have to be mindless to NOT state on a PUBLIC message board that you don't support the administration, coaches, and yes even players. This is a board FREQUENTED by players, recruits, families of players and recruits, and many other folks that just like to LURK and NOT post.

GT is a fine institution known for its excellent education, quality student-athletes, and CLASSY fans. Let's just keep our end of the bargain.

There are PLENTY of other places for harsh, negative criticism. This and other boards like this are NOT the place for them.
 
Beeware is a first class jerk who knows so little about football it is laughable..........starting with his single minded devotion to the "Seatle Bowl Staff" .
 
I think this thread shows the true nature of the arguement more than any. Here we have many people coming out to support beeware, and saying they agree with him. However, they don't get personal, don't insult the coaches, don't bash Tech.

Techjacket, don't let his constant complaining about opinions fool you. Beeware still thinks this is about his opinion. It's not, he just doesn't get it. No one cares about differing opinions. It's the bashing and the general attitude that people hate. We ALL have different opinions. But we don't bash Tech or the coaches over them like he does. I've got $5 that if it wasn't in the rules he'd be bashing the athletes themselves. He just doesn't do it cuz he knows it'd get him a direct ticket off the board.
 
I agree, Culb. I would enjoy BW if he was just decent in his expressions. Differences in opinions are normal and good. In my profession, there is a saying that if you have two theologians in a room and they both agree on everything, then you have one too many theologians in the room. I think that the same works for these boards.

No one is saying that we should be mindless zombies.

And anyone who can read with understanding can see that there is much debate raging on the Hive. But to react to repeated insensitive barbs, name-calling, and insults, is not whining. If it is, then the ones calling us whiners are themselves whining.

It does not seem so difficult to understand that all we are needing is to clean up our language. If one is not brain-dead, then he/she can criticise in a positive way. To slash and bash is the easy, mindless, and insensitive way of criticizing.
 
I vote to suspend Beeware for a few weeks if he doesn't get some new material.

I realize some of you don't mind wading through twenty drivel posts of his to get to the occasional gem.

For those of you who enjoy the drivel a 'mad lib' can be devised to simulate the normal Beeware post.
