Who do you think we will lose to and beat next season?

Wins: @ ND, Samford, @UVA, Clemson, Army, UNC, @Duke

Losses: all games are winnable

Toss-ups: BC, @Maryland, @Miami Fl, VT, and UGA.

I think we will win 3 out of 5 toss-ups and have a 10-2 record.

I'm ready for next season to get here!!!

What you think about next season?

I'm thinkin' you need to put UVA in the tossup column because we play them there.

Miami and BC will be breaking in new coaches, so I like our chances against them, especially against Miami... we kinda know what their offensive tendancies may be...

Don't think we have any idea what Miami tendencies will be. Nix is smart enough to base offense on QB capabilities. RB was very limited and so was our offense. Not necessarily the same with Miami QB.

Playing at ND against a lesser team is probably equal with playing a better ND at our home...TOSS-UP. We will be the underdog.

WINS at home against Clemson, UNC, BC, Army, and Samford...and at Duke.

Playing at Maryland a TOSS-UP. I will also call having VT at home a TOSS-UP>

We will be the underdog at UVA (we have not won there in 17 years!). We will also be the underdog at Miami, as well as against UGA. Miami is being called by many as the most talented team in the ACC next year and they will be playing with a chip on their shoulder....and we have them at their house.

I see 6 wins, 3 likely losses, and 3 toss-ups.

It's hard to find exact numbers on leaving seniors because of ND's old fashioned rules naming RS Juniors Seniors. However, I'm pretty sure that 10 of their defenders from last year are leaving plus their offensive line and of course, Quinn and Samarjaja.

If pretty boy Clausen is starting, I take GT by two touchdowns easily. Clausen played against tiny California schools the past four years. He's never seen a real defense, much less Phillip Wheeler.

I went through that as they recentely released a list of the seniors that are returning. Defense is where they are strongest with 6 returning starters including co-captains Travis Thomas and Tom Zbikowski. Offense only returns 3...2 OL's and star TE John Carlson.

PK left....Punter is back.

Completely agree with you floridajacket.

I think we will have to see what games we are underdogs in based on well we are playing. By the UGA game we could be #1 in the nation.......highly improbable, but you cant call underdogs for mid-to-late season games before we get there.

The ND game we will be underdogs, but highly favored for an upset.

without a doubt...just boring offseason conversation

I hope we do win ten and lose only two.As Ihave said to others on other blogs there are new coaches on teams that will make their teams play better.Miami,BC and Va will be better in my opinion.Ga has problems with offensive line and the qb is still young.Clemson seems to be a puzzle but we do play them at home.My pick is 7-5 and possibly 8-4 if we can score points.Hope I am wrong.

I think your picks are in the green. To many good teams with new coaches always leady to trouble.
