Next Year\'s Frosh

I don't forsee too much help next season, but do expect solid players 2 or 3 years down the road, however, there always seems to be at least one frosh who sees significant playing time right off the bat. Who do y'all think will be that "True" Freshman this year?

I would say that Demariyus Thomas has the best chance of seeing the field early. He has the body already...If he has good hands and route running ability, he could make an immediate impact as the big receiver complement to Calvin.

Re: Next Year\'s Frosh

the three players taking part in spring practice may also have a chance to see the field as well.(evans, barnes, bowen) Earls and Reese might also be seen on punt and ko returns. I wouldn't doubt if some of the d recruits saw action on the special teams. Guys like Marius, Tongo, etc.

Re: Next Year\'s Frosh

Due to depth issues I think we'll see Marius and Tongo on the field as key reserves on defense.

Re: Next Year\'s Frosh

I also expect to see Sedric 'The Entertainer' making plays on special teams.

Re: Next Year\'s Frosh

I can't remember is Bowen a safety? Two safeties are definitely seeing the field this year (and on ST).

Re: Next Year\'s Frosh

He's a pretty big safety, kinda like Barnes was. They normally turn people with his size into OLBs
