GT fans are a hardy group. I’m not sure I’ve ever me a Browns fan, but if I did that would have to be one hardcore m’fer. Talk about misery, their fans that are alive when they last won a title are all on Social Security.

I am one of the few double suffering browns and yellow jackets fans. Grew up in NE Ohio watching browns football, got to see them build to a contender in the mid 80s only to lose to the broncos twice in heartbreaking fashion in AFC champ game. Started at Tech in ‘88 with no prior knowledge of tech football and the miserable 3-8 season to witness Ross build team to MNC in 90. I thought I was being redeemed for years of browns misery with that meteoric rise to only get hurled back in mediocre jackets football and even worse browns football. It’s a miserable existence, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One of my best friends lived outside Cleveland (Lakewood area) during his HS days. It was back when they could at least get to the playoffs before inevitably losing to the Broncos. 35 years later, and he's still a die-hard fan, though he's also a grumpy SOB.

And that franchise is doing pretty well in Baltimore rn.

And Browns fans absolutely did not root for Baltimore. That would be like a Sonics fan rooting for the Thunder. Pure heresy!
