We don't see a lot of runners who will do that anymore and I'm not too sure why not. They do earn respect quickly. When I saw that hit, it reminded me of Hershell Walker bowling over a DB at Tennessee. The DB, I believe, went on to play for Dallas.
Had a kid who played Fullback for me back in the early '70s in grade school Junior Midget FB. When he would get past the Def. line, he would run straight at what ever safety or whoever would be between him and the goal. Run at them as straight and fast as he could. When they finally committed, it was too late. He just put the move on them and scored.
