Nice move of WO James Liipfert @ FB

Liipfert is a rising RS Jr who is a walkon w/o athletic scholarship right now. He played in 12 gms in '06 on the KO return STeam. James played FB/LB in HS in the small private school league. With Bray's injury it is certainly a chance for Liipfert to get to play some this Fall & will surely help out the Yellow Jackets in practice. Looks like a good move all around.

The logjam at LB allowed his move to FB.

Bray's Injury .....

is bad for the team, especially if Cox has lingering shoulder problems given the importance of that part of the body in blocking. It may lead to more one-back sets than it will to playing time for Liipfert.

Quincy returned to practice yesterday and will most likely end up being ahead of Liipfert.
