I can't handle any more chaos. USCw, USCe, Hawaii, Maryland, Illinois, North Texas, UCF, Minnesota... who is next? Does Richt go down? I am freaking out, man.
 
That's a shame for Nermal, I remember when Chew was one of the prospective guys-to-get a few years ago.

I've followed Hawaii for about a decade and I'm still surprised they did not try to hire Ken Nimatalolo back in 2012. I know he loves being at Navy, but I think it would be hard for him to turn down going back to his alma mater.

I've seen one or two folks propose Kiffin for Hawaii. A place to prove he's capable of HC success and rebuild his image.

Hawaii tried to run a pro style offense under Chow and it failed miserably. Hawaii does best when it goes against the norm in running unique offensive systems like the run and shoot or the flexbone in the 90's with CPJ. That's why I can see Niumatalolo, Ivin Jasper, and possibly June Jones being considered.

Kiffin would do better at a place like Minnesota, Maryland, Va Tech, or Miami.

I can't think of a better gig than Navy. Ken makes $2+ million and plays a reasonable schedule that pretty much guarantees 7 wins and a bowl game every year. The guy has infinite job security and Annapolis is an awesome place to live. Unless he wanted to move up to test his coaching at a higher level, there is no reason to leave. Navy >>>>>>>>>> Hawaii

At this rate, we're going to see schools competing for the best times to announce they've fired their coach, making deals with networks for prime time press conferences.
 
Back in 1994, GT was roundly criticized for firing the coach before the end of the season.

Now it's SOP.

Annapolis is nice...but Hawaii is paradise.
