North Stands Fail Building Inspection!

With the addition of VT/UM there is now a need to add 2 new flagpoles on top of the stands to fly the banners just like the other ACC members have. It appears gov't inspectors have determined that the extra stress by these 2 new 6 foot flagpoles will require the total rebuilding of the foundation under the stands to comply with city of Atl, state of Ga., EPA, USDA, UN, OPEC, Young Democrats, Dixie Chicks fan club, ASPCA, and FFA regulations. Thank goodness we did not expand to 12.

uhh .. true story .. my firm is involved with the building of the new stands.

i actually shivered when i read the topic.

suffice to say, i'm glad that the opposing fans will be the ones doing the "load test"
