It is an absolute shame that there are 0 black jerseys at the bookstore on the day of the game. Logistics should be ashamed of themselves.

To be fair, there’s been a lot of supply chain disruption this year.
Not to be argumentative but knowing how all this apparel stuff works, the "for sale"jerseys could have (and should have) been manufactured at the same time/same factory/same line as the team jerseys. That is actually how this is supposed to work - its difficult and costly to do two separate runs (one for team jerseys and another for retail jerseys) so I'm guessing, therefore, that there will not be any black jerseys in the bookstore because I doubt any were produced.

Adidas seems to have taken the position that retail sales for replica items is not large enough to risk manufacturing them.

Maybe they plan to auction off the game worn jerseys after the game. Not having replicas in the bookstore prior would help inflate the bidding prices. Or, our bookstore may have just dropped the ball again
I’m banking on this

This is the same supply chain that had almost no Adidas Tech gear for nearly a year after the new agreement was announced.

So they make the replica gear at the same time as the real stuff? Interesting.

They’re available for purchase online, dunno why they didn’t stock some at the bookstore unless they just figured nobody is shopping in person anymore.

Can you drop the link? I couldn’t find online.

Where's it coming from, China?

CGC said something in an earlier GT 60 show that implied that some gray unis were on a boat somewhere. I assume China or Indonesia or wherever Adidas manufacturers their stuff.

There was a fan at the game today wearing one of the black jerseys. Either he got really fast shipping or somebody was selling them locally.

A good bit of the fabric comes from Vietnam. The production lines are mostly in either China or India.
You can run small batches in Vietnam but if you are making serious volume, you are going to be in China or India.

India is making a serious challenge to China but can’t yet come anywhere close to the volume you can get from China at the same per-unit cost.

Bottom line: if you want low cost volume, you are doing business with a company in China. If you don’t already have a business connection there then don’t bother.

Here’s one I can find my phone. There were more in a link that came with the announcement earlier in the week that I deleted.

"This product is currently unavailable"

I can’t wait to hear everyone bitch about people wearing black jerseys to games for the next 5 years.

"This product is currently unavailable"

It was “limited quantities” when I posted the link. I guess people liked them. If somebody still has the emails or tweets from earlier in the week, some other vendor might have them.

Also not specifically football related . . .

Pretty sick and tired of the Nick Satan AFLAC commercials. I guess he is supposed to be recruiting folks to the AFLAC team, but it would be more realistic if there was a booster next to him passing out envelopes of cash to the "recruits."

I bought mine off fanatics on Monday. I called the bookstore and they said they have em, which was bs because I went and checked and they didn’t. Then I ordered them on fanatics.

FYI Fanatics is 5 months late on a jersey I ordered in July. They keep pushing back the date.
