I've got to say, this board has replaced the Hive as the best GT board on the net. I've been a poster and reader of the Hive for years and I really appreciate it being there for Tech fans for all this time. But I must say, poster content is better here and the board is much easier to use and much more liberal in allowing board posters to say their peace. The Hive has turned way too restrictive, personal and argumentative. I'm just a little sick of the namby, pamby attitude about what posters can post and not post too, I mean what's wrong with using a minor curse word from time to time, we are all adults right? I didn't realize we all have to be pious and rightous....not to mention it seems their are double standards for some posters. The hard work here by the board developers and the administrators on this board is really showing. Kudos!!
Oh yeah, to HELL with Georgia!!!
 
Great post, Buzzilla! I was over there earlier and the very lst thing I see is another warning about questionable substitution of words such as arse for a--, etc. I thought, my goodness, back to elementary school for us kiddies. Then, I scroll down as see someone has used "fargin". That was so funny to me.

It just seems so harmless to substitute. I have a difficult time believing a normal, grown male would want to spend time reprimanding adults about how to substitute for a "naughty" word.

Thank God for STINGTALK.COM! Censorship s---s!!
 
Great post Buzzilla... and I agree with you ... StingTalk is a great board, the moderators have done and do an excellent job of providing a forum for all of us "Tech Junkies" .... I think this board has proved that the Tech community does need two boards.... I rarely go to the Hive, and cant remember the last time I posted there... but think its great that we have both boards...
 
Yes, we disagree vehemently at times with each other, but we still like each other and are all Tech fans. This is the way it should be.
