This is the first season-opening gameday in a long time where its feels like anything is possible for this team. For all any of us know, we could go 11-1 or 10-2 and go to the Orange Bowl. Nothing at this point would suprise me. And at the very worse, I think we do 7-5 like we have been all these past years.

I haven't had that feeling of a limitless ceiling for GT football in a long time. While the season-opener, or any GT game gets my blood rushing, this one feels a little bit extra special, don't ya'll think? I have missed that feeling very much.

I learned very quickly not to get my hopes up with the previous regime. I am now causiouly optimistic.

I have been thinking that lately... everybody thinks i am crazy... but I have a distinct feeling about this year that I haven't had since Hamilton and O'Leary were kicking butt and taking name

This season could go anywhere. We could finish as good as 14-0 or all the way down to the very bottom at 13-1. But either way, we win a national title.

Agreed! I haven't been this stoked since '01 with Godsey, Joe Frank Burns, and Co.

There was always a sense of impending doom over the past 6 years. For me, I had that feeling since 5th game into the old regime (a brutal 21-13 win @ UNC in '02...we won luckily, but the team took on the shape of a deer in headlights).

At least, for the 3rd season in a row, we will on my X-Box, which is the reality I've crawled to during the past few years when things start going South.
