I thought this thread was gonna have some half-naked notre dame coeds in it.
 
The thing is that it seems like ND just makes humiliation easier every year, whether it be for mass cheating or imaginary girlfriends (still my personal favorite).....
 
I have no idea why he kept Kelly after the season they just had. Kelly isn't a good coach and he's a complete public relations liability.
 
O'Leary got massive crap for making a football player get hit by another football player in full pads.

Kelly got a student killed by having him climb a flimsy tower in tropical storm conditions cuz he wanted video. Notre Dame was okay with that. Literally killed.

Yep. Only for at least somewhat academically-minded schools though. Alabama does it for the dumbass programs like ugag, who think they should win every game. Saban basically got Richt and Miles fired.
 
As my brother, who has had to deal with Notre Dame grads in his line of work, says, "You can tell a Notre Dame grad. You just can't tell them anything."

And I have a good friend who is a Notre Dame grad. He's actually pretty sharp. He got himself into trouble by being too smart for the room on occasion.

O'Leary got fired by ND several days after he was hired when someone discovered that his resume contained several false claims.
