Notre Dame vs ???

ND is not in the ACC. An embarrassment to ACC to have someone who is not even in the conference win their conference title. Should have NEVER been allowed.
I really don't care one way or the other. If the ACC plays their cards right, it will be a barnburner championship game with Clemson winning on the 2pt conversion in the 6th OT on a play that has to be reviewed.

Rare genius move by the acc to get two teams in

Yeah, looks like ND is a lock for the playoffs even with a loss. Although if Clemson crushes them in the ACCCG, ND might get left in the cold.

ND will definitely not beat Clemson twice.

Not with Trevor Lawrence back.

This. Tech gets to double dip if they both make it and I want what’s best for Tech. Obviously we could use the extra cash.

A healthy Clemson is probably favored by 10 against ND anyway. Dream scenario for me is Clemson beats ND, Bama beats UF, depleted OSU loses to MSU, and Cinci sneaks in.

ND ain’t winning the title. By the end of the Clemson game, Clemson was missing about 1/3 of their starters due to COVID, injuries, targeting ejections, etc. I’ll admit that Notre Dame is a much better team than I thought they’d be, but Clemson is better.

Mark Packer was making fun of that this morning. He also was making fun of UGAg being #8. Said that was the most embarrassing ranking he'd ever seen. His point was they don't have a win against anybody in the top 25 and the 2 teams they did play took them to the woodshed. They haven't looked good on numerous occasions this year yet they continue to hold pat. Their only remaining opponent is 0-8. If they make the game up they may also play 4-3 Mizzou. So they will have zero quality wins, a few they barely won, and 2 bad losses and be top 10.

It’s not like the replacement QB played badly in their original matchup. The players returning on D are probably more impactful.
Agree, but Trevor Lawrence is good enough for a 4 point bump at least which would have given them the win.

Miami and BYU should both be ranked ahead of UGA. If/when PAC-12 teams move up in the rankings, both USC and Washington, who are undefeated but ranked 20 and 22, with win or two more should jump UGA.

Tech would’ve beaten UGA by two TD’s had they and the SEC not chickened out of playing ooc games.

We better not play UGAg in Athens next year. BDS or GTFO. SEC cancelled. UGAg voted to cancel. You don't get a 2021 home game in Athens vs. GT.

Looks like the ACC has locked Notre Dame in.

As long as Clemson wins out, they are in. If they lose and Miami wins out, they are in.

Best case scenario, ACCCG canceled due to COVID. Clemson and Notre Dame in without question. Double dipping for GT fam.

How much would the ACC lose by not having television revenue from the ACCCG this year?

That might throw off our Home/Away schedule balance. Kind of depends on how the ACC handles the scheduling (act as if this year didn’t happen or pick up on the normal schedule)
