What do you expect from the Va Tech game? I think we have a great chance against VT. BC may have been more of a challenge for us with that D-Line.

Virginia Tech isn't exactly dazzling against Furman. I give us the same shot we had today, but I think we'll be improved.

If we play like we did today, we will get killed. However, I expect a lot of improvement(hell, I thought we improved a lot from the first half to the second half today) and think we really have a shot. IF we can manage to win next week, then it's time to start really thinking about contending for the conference title this year.

And fortunately, 2 of our next 3 games are OOC and the conference game is Duke. If we beat VT, imagine if we're 6-0 going into Clemson.

I think that BC is better than VT.

VT's offense has been very mediocre. I am concerned about the running QB making some broken plays against us though.

I would expect us to run the ball better on VT; their front 7 is not as good as BC's.

However, our damn kicking game has got to improve--the LS's gotta quit rolling the ball back to the holder.

This is big. We have had some breakdowns against QB runs in our first two games.

I'm tempering my excitement because I'm not so sure we will fair against Tyrod Taylor. Our O should be improved and do better against a less-skilled D-Line. Overall though, I think it's break even and will be another nail-biter.

Ok, I just looked over VPI's game. The score was 3-0 going into the half. Their first TD was 6 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Unless Furman has gotten a lot of D-1a transfers, they can't be THAT talented. I'm still tempering my excitement, but I do feel much better after seeing that score.

I'm just afraid that VT will get their act together some this week. Watching ECU play WVU right now, and ECU looks to be a very good team. VPISU may be better then I thought after watching the first game. Also, and this is important - our special teams currently rank between suck and blow, and we all know how VT wins games...

I love over-reaction.
1.) We won. So if we play like we did today, we'll win again.
2.) We just played easily the best front 7 we'll play all year long, maybe 2nd best next to UGA.
3.) We rallied in the second half.

VT is not as good of a team as BC.

There's no room for logic on the internet.

BC's offense didn't exactly light the scoreboard up a whole bunch..... I wasn't real impressed.

Uh, not impressed with their O or not impressed with our D? So were you depressed right after the win or did it take a little while for your attitude to sour?

I always felt that if we won against BC, we'd be 6-0 going into the Clemson game. VT isn't nearly as good as BC. It won't be an easy win, but I like the balls this team displayed today.
