Do you think anybody has a starting spot cemented? How many new starters will we have? I've read good things about uzzi and mcrae. could any of the freshman possibly help out this year?

any ideas on who will play where? Who will step into Andrew Gardner's shoes? Voss staying at center or moving to guard? Anyone?

What what I've heard, you can pretty much pencil in Claytor. He played really well when starting last year. If you go back and watch the UGA game, you'll see that he makes some really nice blocks: specifically on Dwyer's long TD run at the start of the second half.

I am personally predicting 2 RS FRs to start next year.....maybe 3 if phil smith pans out.

I'm 99% sure Claytor will continue to start. Other than that, I think it's open. I do think Gilbert solidifies a spot.

I could see it going like this:

Claytor
Voss
McRae
Uzzi
Gilbert

(Interchange these names however they fit best on the line)

It will be good news if some of the rs-freshmen step up and take a starting job. I think that Voss and Howard are probables, after that it is wide open.

IIRC, I do believe that Cord made 2nd team All-ACC.

Yea. But should he? Morgan burnett also made second team. You think he is really the third or fourth best safety?

Cullen harper was voted acc preseason offensive player of the year. Don't think I trust that to much.

LOL. A preseason finger-in-the-air vote is now equivalent to a post-season vote on the season's body of work that's in the books? Wow.

I'm just saying those are the same guys. No reason to argue with a fellow tech fan though. Thwg!

I agree there's no need to argue. I wasn't particularly happy with the shot at an S-A who actually played well this year. Well enough to be recognized for his work. And I do agree... thwg!
