Last year the O-line b1tch-slapped UGA and Miss St into oblivion.

Against ND the favour was returned. Did Shaq really make that much of a difference, or is ND's front 7 that much better than the dwags/Miss St dwags?

I think our guys just played really shitty.

NDs front 7 is good. We got beat, plain and simple. But we could have played better.

More missed assignments than physical dominance issues. They also employed the "hold em from getting to the second level" strategy that we've never fared too well against.

I remember when Shaq Mason drove blocked 5 grown men in a single play.

I think you have to give the ND coaching credit as well. Along with just being physical they also executed their plan extremely well. The mistakes we started to make (missed FGs etc) didn't help our cause.

Big difference there is that both of those games were at the end of the season and we were firing on all cylinders.

It's easy to forget now, but we legitimately almost lost to Georgia Southern at the start of what turned out to be one of our best seasons in decades. I don't remember that Georgia Southern game that well, but in the second half was our o-line getting dominated? Maybe it takes a while for everything to get in sync?

Please find this... I want to document this somehow. Do you remember which game?

I was being a smartass. My point was Shaq typically only blocked one guy. It takes the entire line to make the offense go. Not just 1 player. We have some major league improving to do.
