Maybe I'm just being a positive thinker but if we can make some major upgrades to the OL, this offense can beat a big defense like Iowa's.

Our problem last night was not Nesbitt's in-ability to throw, although he was way off at times. Our problem was the fact that our running game had nowhere to go because the line was manhandled.

I think having Phil Smith and Uzzi and maybe another big stud or 2 could go a long toward giving this offense a chance against large, athletic defenses.

We also have to remember that we played the toughest and most fundamentally sound defense we've face all year.

VT and UNC were good but not like Iowa. VT is more disciplined but somewhat undersized. UNC is massive but not very disciplined. Iowa mixed the 2 and shut us down.

Gotta get the lines taken care of and Paul Johnson will be fine. Even when a team has a month to prepare.
