The officiating sucked. Were they Big 10?

Pat Clark got victimized as a first game starter at corner. He was often in good position but would not turn to make a play on the ball.

Special teams were not special.

Our DLine got pushed off the ball in the 2H. Walker got most of his yards in the 2H and he wasn't even getting touched until several yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

Reggie didn't melt down and made some good runs. Like to see the option but he is pitching too early and not forcing the defender to commit.

The pass rush wasn't there in the second half. The Irish OL would just tackle the blitzer and no flag. Nobody was physical enough to bull rush thru the hold.

Playcalling still too conservative. You won't beat a good team very often playing not to lose. Hard to see any difference from last year.

Don't recall any turnovers on either side. Our D has got to create turnovers for us to win. Our O is not productive enough

Great game day experience. We put on a great show for Gameday and ABC. The Irish fans were numerous but they didn't have much to yell about. Most seemed in shock.

I too enjoyed the atmosphere...
Saw Josh Nesbitt & several others during the walk through....LOVED the pre game atmosphere & LOUD crowds throughout the game...
Would have liked to seen more of what we were seeing from GT in1 & 2 in the 3 & 4 quarter.....

Wonder what most recruits were thinking....Hopefully...This is incredible! This programs is on the BRINK of having something REALLY SPECIAL & we can COMPETE w/ the best in the NATION!!!
Loved the heart & emotion....Yes there were areas where we came up short & decisions that are questionable.....OF course our nature is to harp on the negatives especially the SP woes & our QB situation...but honestly....we made ND & the whole country take notice....it was RESPECTABLE & I hope that we learn from our mistakes & make the necessary adjustments & go on to a great season!

I will tell you exactly what the high school kids are thinking.....they are stating emphatically that they are going to draw the best student-athletes to "GTech" and win a championship. I have never seen a swagger like this starting up at Tech...never.

Hiver- That is SO REFRESHING....one of the best things was that GT people in the stands actually got up to their feet & showed a little attitude when Wheeler got the PF called on him!!! Great to see the emotion...bad call but great heart.
