oddsmakers aren't moving the line out of respect; they're moving the line because most people are putting money on us which, honestly, doesn't make me feel too good because I like to go against the public.

I would hope people are putting money on us often. If not, then that means we're probably not taking care of business.
 
It means nothing more than the early money coming in on GT. At the end of the day all they are trying to do is have half of the money on one side and half on the other so they get their 10% vig.

For the record this is probably not a game you want to bet.

The bigger bets will be laid this evening or tomorrow morning. Watch the line for movement and you can get a better idea of where the "smart money" is being wagered. The early money and the moving of the line from 3.5 to 5.5 is an indication that the popularity of Georgia Tech has grown a bit, based upoon our good showing last year no doubt. We have been a notoriously bad bet in recent years, prone to fail to cover. Last year I think we covered the line nine or ten times.
 
Why did Bodog take the game off? They had Tech -5 yesterday.

Did SportsBetting take it off too, or did they never have a line on the game?
