I sat in the middle of the North stands. Looking east, west, and south I'd say it was 90-93% Tech fans. I tried to see behind me but couldn't really see too well.

What percentage of fans in the stadium were Tech fans? What was the official attendance?

In reality, I was impressed to have a sellout crowd with such a large percentage of GT fans. Seems like the past couple of big games (Auburn, Ugag, ND) there was a large percentage 30%+ visiting team fans. Way to go Tech fans, keep it up.

Now, what percentage of the Tech fans were scouts? And what percentage of that percentage will be attending Tech next year after that win?

The fan support for this team has been fantastic! It has added to an already awesome season.

We took Marta back to the hotel after the Maryland game. We met several families with no ties to GT who attended the game. One dad, who was a JD from Georgetown, had both boys clad in 21 jerseys.

I think the difference with this game also speaks to the lame Miami fans. Miami comes into this game in complete control of their championship destiny and you return a big chunk of your alotment.

The Miami fan base mirrors the team they have. No unity, no loyalty, no swagger and no championship!

I was at the Gator Bowl in 2000 against Thug U and they barely filled half their side of the stadium while we were around 90+% on our side, it was unbelievable. I told my Dad, "All they gotta do is drive right up A1A." I still hate that lose, the few that were there were real jackoffs too. It feels soo good to smack them 2 years in a row in big games! Glad to hear we represented ourselves well for homecoming.

The Miami crowd this year was much smaller than two years ago. In addition, they were much less arrogant and didn't have a cocky swagger like they did when they were there two years ago. Then our Yeloow Jackets dished out a little more humility.

We only had about 5-6 Miami fans in our section and all were very cordial fans. There was a father and son in front of me and to the left a few seats over. They both cheered when things went good (for UM) and were quiet when things were going GT's way. Guess it shows that even UM has a few 'normal' fans in their fanbase.

You know, that is a good point, most of the scUM fans I saw (most, not all) yesterday were normal folks, not the thug-type
