Just now looking at game dates. We appear to have more open dates than I remember in the past. Seemingly, this will give us time to heal injuries, work on game plans, etc.

    Any one else got ideas?

Just gives opponents more time to practice without the ball.

Who knows if it will hurt or help? Nobody knows.

The only given is we will have fans claiming that when these open dates actually occur that it was a NCAA conspiracy to specifically hurt GT.

As opposed to ACC giving us long runs without an open date? My comment was about the number of days between games in the open dates, not just the number of open dates.

And I took months off from Stingtalk prior to the 2008 UGAg victory, purposely

To be fair, only 4 of them were worth a öööö.

Is that true? I was thinking it was because we start a weekend early but I guess it is because Labor Day weekend is effectively a week earlier than normal, right?

Yep, something about five Saturdays in November. I think most teams have two byes unless they play Week 0 and might have three byes
