Where would a HC rank if they could go undefeated at home, but winless on the road? How long would they coach at Tech?

They would never be better than 4-4 in conference. They would never win a bowl and probably never make a conference championship game.

But they would never miss a bowl and would win half of their games against uga.

I think they would go about 10 years. They would be more beloved than Gailey. People would still love O’Leary. CPJ would probably be a wash.

If we have a guy that reliably wins all home games and loses all away games, we should keep the first guy and hire a second coach to coach the away games.

CPJ took us to two Orange Bowls and won one. Two othwr bowl victories. Won four ACC Coastal Championships (robbed of one by the ACC). Won one ACC title (again, robbed by the NCAA). Four seasons with nine or more wins.

He did, but a big chunk of our fanbase still run him down. It’s dumb, but iiwii. You don’t think some fans would prefer to have five home wins over uga to what CPJ accomplished? I mean, CpJ had 3. Do you think our fanbase would trade 2 more iga wins for two OB appearances? Hell, we have fans now who would rank Gailey over CPJ. How much do you think our fanbase would enjoy being the 1 in a 14-1 uga season?

Can’t remember if it was here or TOS but I remember a poster had a baby right after Geoff was hired and named her Collins. Posted a bunch of pictures with the coach. Oof.

Can report she is alive and doing well. The goods news is Collins isn’t such a bad name if you don’t know why you are named that.

Wait... so it's possible that Collins may have gotten this dude to fabricate the whole thing? He may not have even been a damn GT fan all along. Hindsight I can totally see that douche doing something like that.

They would be .500 against UGA they could stay forever.
 
I mean, an off-season post should be done in February. Or even June. There is meaningful football topics to discuss, off season is over.
