Look at the past 3 Nat'l Champ. game scores of the winner:

'06 - Florida 41 pts
'05 - Texas 41 pts
'04 - USC 55 pts

Were not gonna win a lot of games 21-17 or 17-10.

We need to change the focus to just putting up the points.
 
Well since right now we don't have offense or defense, it doesn't really matter what wins championships.
 
Georgia Tech sucks. Chan Gailey is a mule, and Jon Tenuta is the most predictable coordinator in the country. I'm over it. Fu** punks.
 
Well, considering the defense gave up 21 pts today and 24 pts against BC, i wouldnt quit on them just yet.

If the offense would have put up the pts of an average Div 1A offense, we would have won easy.
 
That doesn't excuse the lack of D against a team that should be way worse than tech
 
I do agree that Chan still plays the college game too much like the pros in that he likes to win by one point. But the college game is full of too much emotion and the players are not professionals. You can't allow a game to come down to one miffed play here or there. Too often you will lose even when you are the better team.

BC was the better team, UVA was not.

And yet, we got jobbed vs BC and didn't get jobbed vs UVA. The UVA loss was an honest loss. We screwed up more than they did.
