Offensive recruits at risk w/o OC?

FIRST & FOREMOST: I am not trying to instill a sense of panic in anything just looking for constructive feedback.

Do you think that we now could potentially lose more recruits w/o a OC and possibly a HC.

Especially at the QB, RB, WR positions:
Nesbitt. Dwyer. Roddy. White????

Anyone else think that this move just gives our opposition one more thing to "harp on the instability" or "transition"......

I don't mean to start anything just wondering how it will all roll out. I HONESTLY hope that we end up w/ better at each coaching position & quick transitions.
I especially hope that our recruiting staff can keep our "verbals" strong & together through this confusion that the football program has become over the past couple weeks....
I hope most of all that we can rise above it & come out stronger & more committed on the other side b/c of our adversities....Like the saying goes "If it don't kill you, it'll only make you stronger."

GO JACKETS!!! Thoughts/prayers w/ D Rad as he steers the ship through these rough waters!!! (he'll be earning his paycheck through this mess) :fingersx:

I don't think that Nix leaving will impact recruiting. If Chan leaves, we will have some drama.

Unless Nix personally recruited someone on an individual basis, it should have nil effect. I was worried that we would lose Giff Smith.

I don't think that we will lose the bulk of the class, but we have made them very vulnerable to raiding between now and signing day.

For the first season in his tenure Chan and staff had recruiting in great shape in January. I guess he could not stand too much success.

I wonder as of now if recruits are more vulnerable with Gailey staying after he has sent such clear signals he would prefer the NFL, or moving quickly befire signing day and introducing them to a promising new coach.

The recruits are coming..they will stick together!!!

dem,

you sure do seem to know a lot about what's going on. do you have inside info on all/any of these going on's, or are you just good at guessing?

Appears to me you have something going for yourself. Wouldn't be associated with GT in any way other than a fan, would you?

I was just thinking the same thing. Hell, I look forward to reading his posts. He seems to be the one that knows the most about what's going on. What kinda connections ya got there dem?

IMO, the biggest recruit in this class was Threet and he's already enrolled. Dwyer and Roddy have also been firm from day one of this mess. Nesbitt looked somewhat uncertain if Chan left, but he WILL come to Tech with Chan staying. Donley, Gilbert and Claytor also appear to be firm. Not sure about Yandell.

At this point, I see a whole lot to look forward to as a Tech fan. A new OC hire and signing day for the best class in GT's (modern) history.
