It is between OSU and Georgia Tech for 2014 ATH/RB Myles Autry out of Norcross GA. Brother plays at Georgia Tech so it will be a fight.

So we lost some commits again? :hsugh:

Anyone know the scoop on Delando Crooks?

http://blogs.ajc.com/recruiting/201...rgia-tech-ol-target/?cxntfid=blogs_recruiting

Flash forward to about three weeks ago: Out of the blue, the Carver coach said he was approached again by Georgia Tech: “(Assistant Buzz Preston) called and said they had another scholarship that came available. They wanted to know again if Delando was interested. At that point, Delando elected to decline.”

Also, how did we have a scholarship "that came available" 3 weeks ago?

Was that when Jeremy Moore left the team?

Maybe. The article said this happened about three weeks ago, which would have been the first week of October. Moore left the team and then returned to the team the third week of September. So, you have at about a week's difference in the timing and closer to two weeks if you go back to when Moore first left. A week or two could be attributed to the time gap between the interview and its publication plus the vagueness of "about three weeks".

@_EricThompson (gteric) tweeting:
Corn Elder has named GT his leader.

This would be huge -- gets us another good Basketball player without BB scholly and a 4* football Ath.

A-back? A bit small for B-back.

smaller than I expected considering he plays b-ball too, bad luck for us that he got to witness one of the best comebacks in Ohio State history.

I don't know how that got tweeted from my account...but it's not true. Ohio State is his leader.

No worries, my phone accidentally tweets erroneous recruiting information all the time.

I'm betting the truth is it was a secret you weren't supposed to disclose.

Lol. Nope, no secret at all.

Ohio State is his leader and where I think he ends up...He just publicly named them his leader after visiting last weekend.

I'm not much of a tweeter, but seriously how does an erroneous tweet like this happen. It's no biggie, it's not like we are sharing nuclear launch codes. I'm just always curious to the reasons behind some of these--

"I've been hacked"
-by whom? to what ends?

"I didn't mean to tweet to that account"
-so it was supposed to be a secret?

"Somebody that tweets for me made a mistake"
-why on earth do you have someone tweeting for you?

"Couldn't you tell I was joking?"
-Suuuure.

"Dam spellcheck"
-LOL.

"Drunk"
-This one I buy.

This isn't a commentary on EricGT. He's all right. This episode just got me thinking about this.

If I recall correctly, wasn't Erroneous Tweet a CB recruit in 67 or 68....?
