Anyone else notice that Duke got more wins against UGA in one day than Tech in the last 3 years?

I will make an exception to conventional wisdom and confirm that in this particular case, the enemy of my enemy shall remain my enemy.

I really hope GT baseball can survive the apathy we're going through. CDH is going to single-handedly trash the program.

I think we are past apathy. At this point let all the coaching contracts expire and run the ööööing bottom of the barrel program on minimal costs. We cant be any less relevant or beatdown by the dwags. Hire some more football analysts with the savings. See if the decent programs like Kennesaw or Mercer will pay us to come play them at their place.

Maybe he should look at incorporating some analytics, you know something that tells him bunting his best players is a moronic move.

maybe this is the proverbial A.D. "kiss of death"statement...surely Stansbury can't be this dumb...after seven years of consistently losing, improvement just ain't happening, folks...

What will probably happen next year is that Tech Baseball will go 17-13 in the ACC and win 37 games overall and get a 2-seed and then lose to the 1-seed in the final game of the regional.

That will result is Stansbury "opening the vault" and signing Hall to a multi-year extension.

Every year after that (while Hall is still the coach) - Tech will fail to finish at .500 in the ACC and not be invited to the NCAA Baseball Tournament.............. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

In a nut shell, look for an assistant to be let go as the scape goat, a la Jeff Guy. I've seen this before.

So Danny Hall is willing to throw others under the bus to retain his job. This scenario, never leads to improved results. I am very disappointed in our AD.

He did it about 10-15 years ago. Threw all of his assistants under the bus. And here we are again.

After getting out, I bought season tickets and make it to about half the home games. I've only made it to one game each of the past two years.

I really miss the trampoline bats.

I am puzzled by Stansbury's comments. Hall is 63 years old and has been our coach for over 20 years. If he he hasn't figured it out by now, he is not going to figure it out.

Within a year Stansbury is going to have the Tech fanbase whining for Dave Braine!

    You have to ask?
"and he’s willing to make some changes if that’s what we need to do"

Perhaps TS and Hall did talk about Hall retiring...sooner rather than later..and this is how TS is couching that possibility?

Most Tech BBfans would say let Hall go, but according to an AJC article this Sunday morning , TS says he is OK with Hall continuning as the BB coach for Tech. Didn't TS just about 3 weeks ago give johnson an extension and salary increase for the next 5 years. Only at GT can a losing coach continue employment!

Does that sound like another head coach who works for Tech? Hint: initials PJ.
